What to do if the Acrylic of Your Denture Doesn’t Match the Tissue in Your Mouth

Mouth with Teeth

When the tissue, or pink portion of your denture, is not the same color as the natural tissue in your mouth, your denture can look fake. Everyone wants their denture to look natural, but can the tissue of the denture be lightened or darkened? The answer is, Yes! We have different colors and shades of acrylic that can be customized to match the natural tissue in your mouth. We carry high-end acrylics here at Berlanga Dentures, and typically with a Rebase or Reline, we can provide you with a more natural looking denture without having to replace the entire denture.

At Berlanga Dentures we use more translucent acrylics, allowing your natural tissue color to come through.  We also custom create every set of dentures right here. We know that each person’s mouth is unique, and we want your teeth to look and feel as natural as possible.

If you are unhappy with your dentures, come see us. During your consultation we will provide you with all your options, and help you find the right solution for your budget. No one should have to wear dentures that don’t feel and look like natural teeth.
